AMONSETHIS, derrière ce nom à consonance égyptienne se cache le nouveau projet de l’ex-chanteur d’HELLIXXIR, julien TOURNOUD. Formé en 2007 autour de 5 musiciens (guitare, basse, batterie, claviers, chant) le groupe évolue dans un métal progressif envoûtant et varié, teinté de sonorités orientales. AMONSETHIS est le fruit d’un projet sur 3 albums conceptuels contant l’histoire de la 7ème dynastie égyptienne. Après le synopsis, un CD 3 titres intitulé logiquement « the legend of the seventh dynasty » sortie en 2009 et le 1er album Part I – the prophecy sorti en mars 2011, Le groupe est parti sur les routes pour donner une série de concerts en France et dans quelques pays d'Europe, faisant grandir ainsi sa notoriété. Désormais le groupe est en pleine phase de composition du 2ème album intitulé « the final struggle». Sa sortie est prévue pour février 2014. L’originalité du projet est de faire évoluer différents personnages et différentes influences musicales dans ce monde légendaire… Ainsi, 6 chanteurs prêtent leurs voix sur ce 1er album et non des moindres : Sofian Mejri (ex-MANGO GADZI), Emmanuelson (ELLIPSIS, WHISKY OF BLOOD) Mick (DESTINITY) Eric Bevilacqua (CHEMICAL WEDDING, ex-REST IN PEACE), Ma Sarah et donc Julien TOURNOUD. Dernier point, cet album sonne un peu comme un symbole, en marge du conflit actuel au proche-orient puisque vous pourrez entendre du chant en hébreu, en arabe dialectique, en kabyle et en anglais… AMONSETHIS  est donc un projet ambitieux, original et inclassable qui n’est pas prêt de vous laisser indifférent…A découvrir absolument !!!!

AMONSETHIS, behind this word with egyptian influences is hiding the next project of the ex-singer of HELLIXXIR, Julien TOURNOUD. Created in 2007 with 5 musicians (guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and vocals), the band makes an invading and diversified  progressive metal tainted of oriental sonorities. AMONSETHIS is the fruit of a project of 3 conceptual albums telling the story of the seventh dynasty of Egypt. After the synopsis, a EP 3 titles intitled logically « the legend of the seventh dynasty », out in 2009 and the first album Part I – The prophecy, out in march 2011, the band was on tour to give some concerts in France and in a few european countries, making the band more famous. The band is actually composing the second album intituled « the final struggle ». The album is announced for february 2014. Last point, this album sounds like a symbol within the actual conflict in the near East because you can hear vocals an lyrics in hebrew, dialectic arab, kabyl or english… So AMONSETHIS is an ambitious project, original and impossible to class.
